The former Sears retail facility on Lake Street in Minneapolis
MN has nearly 1.2 million square feet of leasable space on 10.88
acres of land, this makes it the largest building in Minneapolis.
The property was originally developed in three major phases with
the first phase buildings completed in 1928 and 1929 and subsequent
major additions in 1964 and 1979.
The buildings are now be converted into condominiums,
apartments, retail stores and office space.
The buidlings will now be heated and cooled by hundereds of
ClimateMaster Water Source Heat Pumps. Horwitz the Mechanical
Contractor on the project has Engineered and installed, Vertical
Stack Units (VHS) with factory installed risers, stand alone
vertical units (VHS & GCV) and horizontal units (GCH)
throughout the building.
